Subject: RIM PROPOSAL: 2 vocab corrections

Hi, here are two definition edits to clear ambiguity and fix problems (so those are almost technical corrections.)

CHANGE PRINT NAME of RoleClass code TERR
   from: territorial authority
   to: territory of authority

CHANGE DEFINITION of RoleClass code TERR
   from:

  > An entity, typically an Organization (scoper), that has certain
  > authority (jurisdiction) over a certain place or region (player). For
  > example, the Calgary Regional Health Authority (placer Organization)
  > has territorial authority within "Region 4 of Alberta" (scoper
  > Place).

   to:

  > Relates a place entity (player) as the region over which the scoper
  > (typically an Organization) has certain authority (jurisdiction).
  > For example, the Calgary Regional Health Authority (scoper)
  > has authority over the territory "Region 4 of Alberta" (player)
  > in matters of health.

Rationale: the definition contained a type (placer instead of player) and the example was incorrect.

CREATE NEW RoleClass code SUBY and deprecate SUBS (because is ontologically impure)
   from: subsumer
printName: subsumed by

DEFINITION of RoleClass code SUBY

  > Relates a prevailing record of an Entity (scoper) with another
  > record (player) that it subsumes.
  >
  > Examples: correct new Person object (scoper) that subsumes one or
  > more duplicate Person objects that had accidentally been created
  > for the same physical person.
  >
  > Constraints: both the player and scoper must have the same
  > classCode.

Rationale: the definition of the subsumer role does not say who is player and who is scoper. Based on the name "subsumer" one might think that player is the prevailing entity. However, based on the assumption that all role-classes in the same family should be poled the same way, the scoper should be the prevailing entity because it subsumes the old stuff analogously to the way in which a generalization subsumes specializations or a class subsumes instances. The argument for that "polarity" is the "global multiplicities" where it is more likely that there are multiple players per scoper than the other way around.

thanks for considering these.
-Gunther
